THE BRIEF
Paddy Power came to us looking for Sparkular effects to be standing-by for the first player to get a hole in one (golf), a nine darter (darts) or a 147 (snooker). The concept of the “Perfect Challenge” asked the question of which one is the hardest to achieve.
Sharp shooters Michael van Gerwen and Luke Humphries stepped up to the oche. Legends of the Crucible Shaun Murphy and Mark Williams were hunting a 147, while golfing gods Matt Wallace and Ross Fisher went straight for the pin.
THE CHALLENGE
Being across two different locations meant we had to provide two teams and two sets of Sparkular equipment, kept warm and ready to fire in case anyone completed the challenge.
THE SOLUTION
Keeping our Sparkular’s warm and manned throughout the challenge meant we were ready for whoever completed it first. We had one team set up on the tee and another based indoors with the snooker table and dart board.
THE RESULT
The competition was tense, Shaun Murphy ended up completing a 147 before any other challenges were completed. Check out how much he enjoyed the effects in the video below, skip to 08:45 to see some Sparkular action!
