DETAILED PRODUCT INFORMATION

Installation

When it comes to installing our effects at product launches, we may have to run power and control cables beforehand. Sparkular’s, smoke jets and confetti blasters all need to be connected to hard power throughout the show. If you’re looking to run cable-free, we could offer either G-Flames, L-Flames, 15m or 5-Finger or pyro, all of which can be fired remotely. If you’d like a water feature, this will require cabling and potentially drainage, all of which will depend on the installation location. Whichever option you go for, we require a period beforehand to set up and demo our products and a couple of hours afterwards to remove them.

Our trained technicians then ensure that the safety zone is cleared before firing as safety is always paramount.

Set-up

Set-up time will depend on where the products are to be located, the access or activity that is taking place in the area:

  • If the area we’re working on is difficult to access for example a stage roof, then our team will rig the pyrotechnics well in advance of the display.
  • We can rig the equipment almost anywhere, often clamping firing plates to truss structures or scaffolding poles. Any products which are not positioned directly on the floor will most likely need to be secured, especially if there isn’t a flat surface or the products fired from these locations are more powerful.
  • Water features will require a more complicated and time consuming installation. Hard power, a water source and drainage will all need to be considered.
Restrictions

Outdoor product launches tend to be only ever restricted by the size of the area and vertical clearance, whereas indoor events will generally have more restrictions, as space is more limited. In order to combat space restrictions, we need to consider what range of products we can utilise indoors – including anything from G-Flames and CO2 jets (which don’t produce lingering smoke) to the innovative Sparkular. Things are more flexible outdoors, opening up the opportunity to use larger flames and Water Features.

How long will the show last?

Product launches are often choreographed in detail. This means we can be flexible with firing times and the products that we use.

All of our effects can stand-by for hours on end, we won’t have to refill anything unless there’s an excessive amount of usage. For our water effects, we’d aim to build a drainage system in place which wouldn’t require any management during the event.

Who supplies our products?

Pyrotechnics

We obtain the majority of our products from Le Maitre, Ultratec and Europla, purchasing in bulk 2-3 times a year to ensure that we have the stock available for any last minute bookings.

Flames

Our flames are supplied by Hansol & Galaxis, both of which are industry leading SFX companies. They are fuelled with either propane or isopropyl alcohol (IPA), leaving no trace once ignited.

Sparkular

All of our Sparkular products are made by Showven, the original, safest and best supplier of cold spark machines.

CO2 / Smoke / Confetti / Streamers

Almost all of our smoke & confetti equipment is made by Magic FX, who have been creating high end machines in the Netherlands since 1995.

Water

We use a number of bespoke pump systems, that we install and program ourselves.
